Personaltiy

Vos was a dreadful individual. Cunning, malicious and without any remorse. He aimed for power and control. He preffered to work alone, not share his fruits with others. If he required help, it usually came from individuals he personally enthralled. He was known to be very cruel to his underlings, obliterating them if they failed at their task the slightest.

As he became stronger, his traits amplified themselves. He became narcissistic, full of himself and overconfident.

Appearance

The Satyr at first didn't stand out from his fellow felsworn. Higher then a kaldorei, with dark-purple fur and skin, with fel runes embedded into his forearms. Striking about his appearance was his bloated, deformed and nightmareish to look at right eye. It looked as if it would take almost half of his whole face. He favoured a black-purple robe with overly-long sleeves, all incribed with demonic glyphs. A long scimitar hanged by his belt.

After his empowerment, Vos became a huge figure, dwarfing even the highest night elves. His physique also changed, muscles bulged everywhere in a gruesome show of power. The fel runes were embedded into his whole chest and back, some still dripping blood from the painful process. He didn't wear anything over the top, instead used a shredded lower part of his robe as a small kilt. Also, he discarded his sword in favour of magically-handled, levitating chains spiked through torn animal hearts, still beating from the demonic magic infused into them.

Role in Darkshore

The reason Vos assaulted Darkshore is still, and probably will forever remain, unknown. It's speculated that he came here in his lust for power. With relative vacancy of demonic corruption, excluding the northern warlock tower, it would be a perfect place to enslave and demolish.

First Encounter

The first time Vos attacked Auberdine was very subtle. It came as a peculiar illness of an "old" kaldorei named Sharandya. Day after day, her condition got worse, as if struck by a disease nobody could identify. After finding out who was behind this, the township of Auberdine sent a group of sentinels aided by the druids of local druids to dispose of him. The fight took place near the ruins of Zoram Strand and in a fel-bound grove. Vos split himself into a physical and ghostly counterpart. After defeating both, the satyr fell dead.

Second Encounter

Vos' second attack was a lot more complicated and mysetrious than his first, rather straight-forward plan.

Seeminlgy random events started happening in medium-lenght intervals. At first, omnious clouds appeared above the village, carrying an off-putting and displeasant aura. The land became monotonous and gloomy. Then, after a few weeks, reports of killed animals started coming into Auberdine. What was thought to have been wayward hunters turned into a serious threat as travellers started seeing animals gruesomely ripped apart by an unknown force, their hearts carved out. The druids then came up with a potion to detect invisiblity and supernatural phenomena. It turned out the clouds weren't in fact clouds, but a giant eye in the sky, watching the township's every action. The unknown forces were acually masked satyrs coated in saronite armor. The team restocked on their supplies and went out to banish the satyr again. This time, however, he took much more effort to kill. Not only had he empowered himself to awesome levels, but also decided to turn the very kaldorei against each other, controlling their minds, taunting them to smite their friends. In the end, after hours of battle, the satyr fell dead, mortally wounded, and disintegrated in jet-black demonic flames, leaving nothing behind.

Trivia

  • Vos was the first major threat to the township.
  • Vos was very handy with his scimitar, almost as fluid beheading others as he was with incinerating them with fel flames.
  • Vos was supposed to have two titles: "the Malign" and "the Malicious Corruptor". The former being less cheesy, it was picked over the latter.
